Crowdpayments

The main purpose of the platform is to help citizens pay off taxes and debts to the Public Organizations (Municipalities, Regions, etc.) electronically, via internet, in order to:

• avoid hardship and delay in cashiers
• increase municipality’s collectability
• promote value-added services to local businesses

Through Crowdpayments platform, citizens have the opportunity to digitally pay all their city liabilities. Some examples are council taxes, illegal parking notes, subscription in municipality’s gym and infrastructures etc. The payment is fast and safe using either by using a card (credit, debit or prepaid) or or by charging an account and transferring money, directly from the website of the Public Organization (Municipality, Region, etc.).

The service is available through computers and laptops, designed to be integrated into digital wallets, as well as chatbots.

All the above-mentioned transactions appear in the Financial Services information system of the municipality, in real time and are available with the Crowdpayments API.

The platform is an innovative tool in the hands of authorities who wish to eliminate time-consuming process in financial transactions and promote transparency and accountability.

The Crowdpayments app can be connected:

• With accounting systems - back office of the Greek Market (it also operates autonomously with data export)
• With all the Banks (Systemic and Cooperative) through the DIAS interbank system
• With existing user management systems if available

For the connection with the application, can be used the codes used for Taxisnet, or of the website of the Public Organization (Municipality, Region, etc.).
