ANTIVIRUS CROWDHACKATHON – Διαβούλευση

Issue: Only limited supermarkets in Greece have e-conmerce capabilities and even those that they do are struggling to manage the high demand for deliveries (e.g. leading e-supermarkets are delivering at 3 weeks timeframes).

Solution: Utilise the currently underutilized fleet of taxis and motorbikes (the latter used for restaurant delivery).

Additional notes: There are a number of considerations/open points to be detailed according to this main idea for which the right parties need to be involved for addressing (such as Fleet management companies, supermarkets associations, e-commerce web developers, payment gateways etc.). The idea is not entirely new as it has been already somehow implemented in other countries, which actually can be helpful in better framing it and implementing it.
