The benefits of the following idea could mean:

-Eliminating the majority of the waiting time that could lead to increased chances of getting infected (lines/queues)

-Creates more organised flow/freeing up more time.

-Less people mixing together in smaller spaces, curbing the spread the spread of the virus.

-Creating more convenience for people and especially the elderly.

We should implement an idea where supermarket employees are shopping on a customers behalf? This creates a more faster or streamlined process, so they can just pick up their items and leave. So a customer would select a supermarket/store in their local area only (where they stay), and select a time they’d like to pick up their goods and leave – instant gratification. They can pay for their goods online, directly on the app? Or those who only prefer cash, can use that too as an option. Supermarkets could also incorporate coupons on the app, for people to use and redeem too.

There could also be an alternative payment method that allows the elderly to pay using social grant? They can request special no-contact delivery as a priority service, in case they are alone, or too worried to go out.

So what about a doctor, or a pharmacist? Why can’t people call them out, and request specific medication to be brought right to their homes? Even an emergency? The idea or tech could also implement an in-app messaging/calling so everything is transparent and in real time.

*Door to door delivery? Optional depending on preferences of individuals?

*Emergency panic button that alerts family and friends or asking for assistance? The good thing is in regards to a medical emergency, a family can request an emergency pickup on someone else’s behalf.

*Vet services for pet emergencies

*An extended service could allow people to see density of people in a set radius in real time, (apart from identifying infected people in an area, that suggests caution)
