Establishing the Network of European Art Festivals for Mental Health Enhancement

Open consultation on the Statute of the NEFELE Network

Dear friends

The nefele balloon is starting its second «etap»! Following the realization of the 1st  European Art Festival for Mental Health which took place in Athens from the 1 st  until the 16 th  of October 2016, its next stop will be the Constituent General Assembly of the European Network of Art Festivals for Mental Health. The assembly will take place in the second day of the NEFELE Conference, at the 27 th  and 28 th  of January 2017 in Athens.

As it has been stated from the very beginning of the project, this founding process includes an open invitation - To every European organization which implements an Art Festival or relative activities in connection with Mental Health.

and at the same time addresses to

- Any entity which is interested and is capable to support such an initiative.

The above categories are the potential members of the European Network

The documented necessity of the establishment of this Network is one the starting points of the NEFELE Project.

The basic constitutional text on the network is its Statute, which includes its mission, its objectives and the way of its operation. These characteristics form the cooperation framework, which the founding members are invited to process and agree upon.

To ensure that democratic principles are being applied within this critical process to the highest level, the Draft Statute is being published to an open consultation so to allow every interested part to comment on it and also contribute to its enrichment with additional ideas that will be at the discretion of the founding members for further discussion.

Everyone is able to submit comments and all of them will be published as long as they are relevant to the Draft Statute and the European Network.

At the same time, all interested parties can submit their  interest to participate in the Constituent General Assembly by filling the participation which can be found here and sending it by email to [email protected].

All requests will be examined by the Organizing Committee in accordance to the relevant criteria of the Draft Statute.

In order to participate in the Constituent General Assembly, all interested parties must be represented by their legal representative or any other person who will be legally authorized. The deadline for the expression of interest is the 10th of January 2017. No organization can authorize another entity or a representative of another entity which is potential member of the network to represent them in the Constituent General Assembly.

You can find the Draft Statute here.

Here you can find useful answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ).

We encourage you to post your comments and thoughts below so to participate in the discussion.

On behalf of the "NEFELE" partnership,
